Creative Website Copy for a Community-Centric Art Studio

Service: Inclusive Content Writing

An art studio that had recently moved location needed creative website copy that reflected its community-centred ethos.

The Challenge

The art studio had recently moved from an out-of-town location to a central location and had seen a sharp increase in the number of bookings for their art classes, workshops and parties. The owners wanted to launch a website with creative and strategic copy so that they could capitalise on the increased interest whilst still reflecting the community-based origins of the studio.

The Solution

The owners were new to the online space so I offered a bespoke package to ensure that they felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. It included:

  • A two hour ‘copy moodboarding’ session to understand how the business wanted to be represented

  • A blueprint for each section detailing the tone and the aim of the copy

  • Research into search trends and local SEO and GEO keywords as the target audience were hyper-local

  • Five pages of optimised copy (including an accessibility page) that reflected the mission and values of the studio.

  • A one hour tour of the finished copy, answering questions and ensuring that the owners felt their vision had been brought to life.

The Outcome

The studio consistently receives high numbers of bookings from local people and the website attracted the attention of some like-minded business owners who have now partnered up to co-host multiple sold out events.
